Healthy Beef Soup

A simple, budget-friendly soup made with ground beef and fresh vegetables. Perfect for meal prep and using up leftover veggies.

Ingredients
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • 400 g ground beef
  • 1 whole onionfinely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlicminced
  • 2 whole carrotsdiced
  • 1 stalk celery stalkdiced
  • 2 whole potatoesdiced
  • 1 small turnipdiced (optional)
  • 5 ml salt
  • 2.5 ml black pepper
  • 5 ml paprikapowder
  • 2.5 ml chili powder (optional)
  • 1400 ml water
  • 200 ml cooking cream (optional)

Instructions

    Heat olive oil in a large pot. Add ground beef and cook until browned.

    Add onion and garlic, sauté for a minute, then stir in the chopped veggies.

    Add water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.
